I accepted an electrical bid today. The entire house needs to be rewired by the end of August to maintain insurance, and electricians are already booked through the middle of that month. Amazing. I am totally in the wrong industry.
As a side note, I am going with this particular electrician, even though he was the highest bidder, for a few reasons: 1) he has excellent yelp review; 2) he specializes in North Tacoma homes, knob and tube rewires, etc.; 3) he was the most responsive of the bunch (one of the guys still has not gotten me a quote); and 4) he has good grammar. I cannot say enough about the importance of good customer service and grammar...or maybe I can.
This is happening. Quickly...and yet I still feel really good about it. I am stunned at how everything...EVERYTHING...has just fallen into place. All signs point to me closing on this house and working some magic.
